Kenneth Keith Aiman, 88, of N. Ft. Myers FL died Friday, May 13th at Hospice of the Piedmont in Charlottesville VA following a brief battle with lung cancer.
He leaves his wife of 57 years, Marjorie; his daughter, Suzanne Margaret Owen and was preceded in death by his son Thomas and his sister Joanne Dugan.
Bo and raised in Pendleton, IN, he was resident of Anderson, IN for over 30 years before moving to Southwest Florida in retirement.
After graduating Pendleton High School in 1946, Mr. Aiman attended General Motors Institute - now Kettering University - and joined GM's Delco-Remy operation in Anderson, IN . He served in the US Army from 1954 to 1956. He met his wife Marjorie, also a Delco-Remy employee, and they were married in 1958.
Mr. Aiman had a second career in Florida, working as a part-time tourism tax auditor for Lee County, for over a decade.
An avid hunter, painter and golfer, he was a longtime member the Riverbend Golf Club near his home in N. Fort Myers.
