A. Richard "Rich" Battistoni, age 78, a resident of Lehigh Acres, died suddenly June 7, 2016 at Hope Hospice in Lehigh Acres, FL. Bo on June 26, 1937, in Mather, PA, son of the late Angelo and Adeline Battistoni.

Richard is survived by his wife, Ruth Bennett Battistoni of 59 years of marriage; two sons, Richard of Boyertown, PA and Ronald (Lisa) of Quakertown, PA; four grandsons; a great-granddaughter; a brother; and two sisters.

In addition, preceding Richard's death was granddaughter Christina, four brothers, and two sisters.

Richard served in the U.S. Army and was a member of American Legion Post 323 in Lehigh Acres, FL. He retired from Wannamaker Department Store in Montgomeryville, PA and was an assistant golf pro for Greene County Country Club in Waynesburg, PA.

There will be no services. He will be missed by many.
